Terms of Service

Clear expectations make better projects.

These terms explain the general conditions for using the OKD Web website and engaging OKD Web for website development, hosting, SEO, support, ecommerce, and related digital services.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service apply to the OKD Web website and to services supplied by OKD Web, the web development and digital-services division of OKD Service Ltd. By ordering, purchasing, or using a service, you agree to the terms applicable to that service together with any accepted quote, proposal, statement of work, order, or other written agreement.

If a project-specific written agreement expressly differs from these general terms, the project-specific agreement will govern that particular issue.

2. Website projects & client responsibilities

Scope & deliverables

Website builds and related project work are based on the features, pages, integrations, content, services, and deliverables identified in the accepted order, quote, or proposal. Work requested outside that scope may be quoted or approved separately.

Content & approvals

Clients are responsible for providing requested content, branding, access credentials, approvals, and other project information in a reasonably timely manner. Delays in receiving these materials can affect the project schedule.

Rights to supplied material

Clients must have the right to use content, images, trademarks, data, software, and other materials they ask OKD Web to publish or integrate. The client remains responsible for the legality and accuracy of client-supplied materials.

3. Pricing, payment plans & ongoing services

Website and project costs

A website build or other project has a defined project price based on the selected package and agreed additions. Where OKD Web offers a structured payment plan, the plan is a method of paying that finite project balance; it does not turn the website development charge into a permanent subscription.

Any deposit, installment schedule, due dates, and project balance will be identified in the applicable checkout, order, quote, or agreement.

Recurring services

Hosting, managed hosting, SEO, content services, maintenance, and other ongoing services are separate from the website project balance and may renew on the billing cycle selected for that service.

Taxes, where applicable, are additional unless the price is expressly stated to include them.

4. Payment processing

OKD Web may use third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Payment processing may therefore also be subject to the processor's terms and privacy practices. Clients are responsible for providing valid billing information and keeping it current where recurring services are active.

5. Late or failed payments

If an amount becomes overdue or a recurring payment fails, OKD Web may contact the client and may pause affected work or services until the account is brought current. Where practical, reasonable notice will be provided before an ongoing service is suspended.

6. Changes, timelines & launch

Change requests

Changes to an approved scope can affect price and schedule. OKD Web will identify material additional work before proceeding where reasonably practical.

Timelines

Project schedules are estimates unless a written agreement specifically guarantees a date. Timelines may change because of client delays, third-party services, revised scope, technical issues, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Testing & approval

Clients should review the website and report known issues during the review process. Launch or final approval does not prevent later support, but new requests or later changes may fall outside the original project scope.

7. Domains & third-party services

Domains, payment processors, plugins, software, email platforms, hosting infrastructure, APIs, search engines, social networks, and other third-party products are governed by their respective providers. OKD Web cannot guarantee the continued availability, pricing, policies, ranking, or performance of a third-party service.

8. Hosting, security & backups

Where hosting or managed services are purchased, OKD Web will provide the services described in the selected plan. We use reasonable practices to support availability and security, but no hosting platform, backup system, network, or Internet service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

9. Ownership & intellectual property

Unless a project agreement states otherwise, once the applicable project charges have been paid in full, the client may use the custom website deliverables created specifically for that client for their intended business purpose.

OKD Web and its suppliers retain ownership of pre-existing tools, reusable code, frameworks, processes, know-how, templates, libraries, and other materials that were not created exclusively for the client. Third-party software, fonts, images, plugins, themes, APIs, and licensed materials remain subject to their respective licences.

10. Cancellation & termination

Cancellation of project work and any resulting amount due will be handled according to the accepted quote, order, proposal, or other project agreement, taking into account work already completed and commitments already made. Ongoing services may be cancelled in accordance with the billing arrangement and any notice or minimum term identified when the service was ordered.

11. Acceptable use

OKD Web services must not be used for unlawful activity, malicious code, unauthorized access, abuse, infringement, fraud, or activity that materially threatens systems, networks, other customers, or third parties. We may take reasonable action to protect systems and services from harmful or unlawful use.

12. Service limitations

We aim to provide reliable professional services, but business results depend on many factors outside OKD Web's control. We do not guarantee particular sales, traffic levels, search-engine positions, revenue, leads, or other commercial outcomes unless a specific written agreement expressly says otherwise.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from a service will be subject to any limitations contained in the applicable project agreement and to rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the OKD Web Privacy Policy. Third-party providers may also have their own privacy practices.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these terms as our services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Effective date: September 30, 2026
